About Social Justice Week

For more than 50 years, Seattle Colleges has commemorated the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Starting in 2023, we had a vision to see our community honor Dr. King's vision for racial and social justice by hosting Seattle Colleges MLK Jr. Social Justice Week—a week of learning, growing, and uplifting our unwavering commitment to social justice within our Seattle Colleges community. Much like our annual celebration of MLK, MLK Social Justice Week is a collaborative effort between the Division of Access, Community, and Opportunity and District Communications. Together with our colleges and local community, and with everlasting optimism for the brighter days ahead, we cordially invite you to join our Social Justice Week events

Open to all community members within the Seattle Colleges District, including students, staff, and faculty at: South Seattle, Seattle Central, North Seattle, Georgetown Campus, New Holly Learning Center, Harbor Island Training Center, Labor Education & Research Center.
