Dear Colleagues,
All faculty and staff are invited to submit a proposal to facilitate a 20-minute workshop or host a districtwide meeting between 1-2 p.m. at Convocation.
This year’s workshops are 20-minute sessions (with a 10-minute break in between) to allow more variety and encourage "TED Talk" type presentations that are short, topically focused, and engaging. Workshops and meetings are open to any topic of interest to employees districtwide. For ideas see the 2020 workshop archive.
See you at Convocation on Tuesday, September 20.
Convocation Planning Team
Dear Colleagues,
We would like to cordially invite all faculty and staff to join our acting chancellor Dr. Rosie Rimando-Chareunsap for Convocation 2022 – Coming Together on Tuesday, September 20 at South Seattle College from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
We are planning to take the beginning of the 2022-2023 academic year as an opportunity to gather, reflect, and recognize our colleagues, districtwide, who have gone above and beyond in their efforts to collaborate, drive change, and spur innovation in how we serve and support our students, and each other.
Seattle Colleges is committed to increasing in-person service and instruction to our students in a healthy and safe manner. This also holds true for in-person events. That said, we are aware that the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve; accommodations, where possible, will be made available for remote attendees to participate in the day’s activities and workshops.
