Career and Technical Education (Prof-tech)

The Program Overview Page is a marketing description for a set of awards offered under each program and is available to edit for people with appropriate permissions (usually the communications team) through the Drupal interface.

The remaining part of the Academic Program Pages i.e. the information specific to each Degree/Certificate is dynamic information coming in from the Academic Data Warehouse. Program Staff with appropriate permissions can edit most of this data in the back-end through the College Catalog tool within the administration section of the inside.seattlecolleges.edu portal. 

Note: A handful of these fields need to be updated in the state inventory before showing changes on our sites, and thus are not available to edit via the inside interface.

  • Request permission to edit Academic Info: Contact David Stephens for permissions and training.
  • Update State Inventory: Contact the VPI's office for the appropriate forms.

How to edit Academic Info

Log in to Inside Seattle Colleges:

  1. Click "Administration" button at the bottom of the left sidebar
  2. Click "College Catalog (Program Management)"
  3. You will toggle between the "College to Career (Program Management)" and "Program Sequence" tabs

Edit the College to Career (Program Management) tab area like this:

  1. Click the college you need to edit
  2. Click the degree
  3. Edit different kinds of information within the expandable sections

  • Click the college you need to edit
  • Click the degree

Review the quarter sequence and click the edit pencil icon/set to move courses to the correct quarter (if needed).
