Volunteer Opportunities
Here's a brief look at what commencement looks like behind the scenes, and why we need your support.
Before the Event
- Set-up: stage and backstage crew, distribution of signage, concourse tabling, registration prep
- Faculty and staff regalia check-out
During the Event
- Staffing: welcoming grads and guests, tabling with registration, gown assistance, supporting the selfie booth
- Runners: assisting with student movement, ushering students into seats
After the Event
- Staffing: Ushering grads and guests out, encouraging donation to cap and gown loaner program, packing/clean up
- Faculty and staff regalia check-in
Volunteer Day-Of Instructions
Parking and Checking In
We encourage you to take public transit to T-Mobile Park. If you decided to drive, a parking pass will be emailed for the Mariner's Parking Garage.
All volunteers will pass through security at the 3rd Base Entrance. Please provide your ID and your name to the security guard upon arrival. Your names have been provided to T-Mobile in advance through the volunteer sign-up form you filled out previously.
3rd Base Entrance
After you pass through security, you will be guided to the Diamond Club, our official Volunteer Headquarters for the day. Here you can pick you your lanyard and name tag with your official volunteer credentials. This is the space were we will be gathering for instruction and meals before heading out to our assignments.

We recommend you carry valuable personal items with you as there is no locked or secure area at T-Mobile for personal storage.
