Documents
How to add pdf, doc, docx, etc.
This is how you add documents via the media entity in Drupal. Media documents allow you to update a file as many times as you need to - plus it allows you to keep the same url and never have to update it.
- Go to Content --> click Media
- Click Add Media
- Click Document
Click Choose File or if you are editing an existing document click Remove and then Choose File.
After saving the media it will automatically have a url structure like this: /media/number. If you would like to give the document a custom url you can click on URL alias and add one in the field. You will use the url to link the document other pages.
- Below is the example for the Areas of Study flyer
- It is linked to other pages by adding a link and pasting /aos-flyer
You can learn more about other types of Drupal pages and content in the Content Editing on Website section. And if you have questions please reach out to webteam.central@seattlecolleges.edu.
