About Institutional Effectiveness
Institutional Effectiveness (IE) plays a vital role in helping the organization achieve its mission and strategic goals. Services range from developing the Seattle Colleges Strategic Plan 2017-23 to creating systems for continuous improvement and learning. Seattle Colleges’ IE is part of the vice chancellor’s office for Academic and Student Success. District IE works with IE teams at Seattle Central, North Seattle, and South Seattle Colleges. Ask us how we can support your goals.
Seattle Colleges’ (IE) team engages in applied research and analysis to inform the decision-making of the Seattle Colleges board of trustees, leadership, and staff. These efforts are coordinated with the IE staffs at Seattle Central, North Seattle, and South Seattle Colleges.
The IE team also develops and maintains strategic plan measures, manages Integrated Postsecondary Education Data (IPED), coordinates the Community College Survey of Student Engagement, and produces as-needed analyses on topical issues. A listing of available publications and surveys is below.
