COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement
Governor Inslee’s COVID-19 emergency orders ended Oct. 31, 2022. This means as of Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2022, proof of COVID-19 vaccination is no longer required for students and employees at Seattle Colleges.
Vaccination remains the best protection from COVID-19. King County recommends additional booster shots in alignment with the flu vaccine this fall for those who are eligible. For vaccine locations and scheduling, visit the Department of Health’s (DOH) Vaccine Locator. The DOH also offers more information on COVID-19 booster guidance.
The information below is no longer applicable as of Nov. 1, 2022:
In the interests of everyone's health and safety, Seattle Colleges has chosen to be a fully vaccinated campus per Governor Inslee’s higher education proclamation. This requires all students, staff, and faculty to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19. An individual is considered fully vaccinated two weeks after receiving the final dose of the vaccine. Exemptions to this requirement may be granted for medical or sincerely held religious reasons.
The accordion boxes below offer information for specific groups regarding the vaccination requirement as well as reporting and verifying vaccination status. There is also a frequently asked questions section for students below that.
NOTE: all students; employees; contractors, educational partners, and their workers; visitors and guests must observe Seattle Colleges' mask/face covering requirements while indoors on any of our campuses. They must also follow the current procedures for entering campus/on-campus activities.
