EDIC at Seattle Colleges
The Office of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Community works collaboratively across Seattle Colleges. It's mission is to promote equity, diversity, inclusion, and community and to ensure just and equitable policies and practices.
Each of our three colleges—North Seattle College, Seattle Central College, and South Seattle College—employs an executive director of EDIC. The executive director works closely with the districtwide associate vice chancellor of EDIC and the college president to provide oversight, support, and leadership to students and employees as part of our colleges' evolving anti-bias, anti-racist mission and commitment to intersectional justice. The executive director also has staff members to assist in the work.
