May Saetern

My name is May and I'm an Outreach Specialist for Seattle Promise, serving Ingraham, Roosevelt, and Nova High Schools. As a proud Iu Mien woman and first-generation student, I believe in and support creating educational opportunities especially for underrepresented students.

Prior to joining Seattle Promise, I worked as an emergency room social worker, as well as organized a higher education event for Southeast Asian/American middle to high school students. I received my bachelors in international studies and masters in social work from the University of Washington.
