This course is part of Seattle  College's LEAD (eLearning Education Across the District) program, and counts for four (4) units towards the pedagogy track. This course introduces instructional design principles and relates the principles to the development of face-to-face, online, and hybrid courses. It includes many resources, is interactive, and encourages much discussion among participants of concepts, ideas and strategies for effective teaching. You should expect to spend approximately 6-8 hours on the activities in this course.

At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify the steps of the ADDIE model of Instructional Design.
  2. Apply the steps of the ADDIE model of Instructional Design to development of a course
  3. Develop an Evaluation Plan that measures how effectively objectives have been met.
