The Board of Trustees of Seattle Colleges District reserves to itself the final determination of the granting of tenure to any academic employee of the District; the dismissal of a tenured academic employee; or the dismissal of a probationer during the term of his/her contact; pursuant to the policies of the Board of Trustees, the agreement with the American Federation of Teachers – Seattle Colleges, and the laws of the State of Washington.

Tenure shall be considered for employees of the Seattle Colleges District pursuant to the terms of the negotiated agreement with the American Federation of Teachers – Seattle Colleges and the laws of the State of Washington.
