Joe Atil

I'm Joe Atil, a Retention Specialist at Seattle Central College. With a deep commitment to student success and equitable access to education, I support students in reaching their academic and personal goals. Drawing from my own experience as a first-generation college graduate, I understand the challenges many students face and strive to provide guidance and resources to help them thrive.

In my role, I serve as both an academic advisor and a support system for students, assisting them in course selection, academic planning, and personal growth. With a background in student services and retention programs, I bring a passion for empowering students to overcome obstacles and achieve their aspirations.

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring the diversity of our city, and experiencing different food cultures. If you see me, we can chat about anime. I'm thrilled to be part of the Seattle Central College community and look forward to supporting students on their educational journey.
