Educational institutions have a duty to establish academic standards and conduct for their students.

Seattle College District maintains conditions which are conducive to freedom of inquiry and expression compatible with the orderly operation of its functions.

The district policies and procedures relating to student discipline, including the imposition and appeals of such discipline, are set forth in Chapter 132F-121 of the Washington Administrative Code. Copies of chapter 132F-121 WAC may be obtained from the college vice president for student services office or accessed on the Web at seattlecolleges.edu/studentrules.
