Monique Ming Laven Tonya Mosley is an award-winning journalist based in Seattle. She is a regular broadcast contributor to Al Jazeera America and talk show host for KIRO Radio. She has won several national awards for Black in Seattle, her four-part radio series, including the 2014 RTDNA Unity Award and the National Association of Black Journalists Salute to Excellence Award. In addition to her broadcast work, Tonya also writes for several local and national print and web-based magazines. She was recently named one of the “51 Most Influential People of 2014” by Seattle magazine.
